I need advice about how to tell my female ambulance partner that i had a dream about her?

Ok i work on an ambulance and me and my partner who is female are together a lot as you would expect and we have grown close. But thats not the problem we both like how close we have come to each other.





The problem is this. Last night i had a dream about her. It went something like this. She had joined and gang. And then one night at work the cops showed up at at station to arrest her for something. So she came crying to me hugging me and all telling me good bye before the cop came in and threw her to the ground. The look in her eyes when that happened was a look of complete helplessness and is still extremely vivid in my mind as i write this. She later on got sentenced to 2 years in prison. And thats when i woke up.





Now i know this was all a dream but it just seems so real to me. Does anybody have any insight about this that i havent thought of yet? Anything would be nice.

The subject of your dream appears to be influenced by the type of job you have.





Placing her in the dream as a wrong-doer was simply a recognizable substitition for some other person who you might not have remembered so vividly (this happens frequently in dreams). It does not mean that you see her as a criminal.





It is understandable that she would be in your dream because, as you stated, you both work closely together.





As far as telling her about it, that is something that you should be able to just spring up, ';Dude, I had a dream about you last night.'; Then she'll ask about it, probably assuming at first that it was something sexual. :-)I need advice about how to tell my female ambulance partner that i had a dream about her?
What's the big deal.....you like her....you spend a lot of time with her, so you had a dream.





So what's the big deal in telling her. If she's a cool person, and it sounds like she is, then you should be able to just tell her and you can both laugh with it......don't be so serious. Life's too short --- as you well know!
Insight on how to tell her? I personally would not, especially since it was not a very pleasant dream. Insight on what it meant or could possibly mean towards future events? Dream interpretation to me is over rated as I think dreams are just a way for your brain to vent random ';stuff';. You work closely with this woman so it's no surprise she's in your dream.
What would be your reaction if some told you they had a similar dream? Would you like it if someone told you that dream. By telling her about it, it will make your business relationship awkward. She might feel so uncomfortable, she would request someone else as her partner.
well what i think is that you don't want anything bad to happen to her and are scared for her safety as you both are firefighters and all so maybe you just really want to protect her which is not a bad thing so hopefully this helped and good luck for the both of you

She might be taken away from you soon, she may move away, if there are things left unsaid then maybe it would be a good idea to say them before it's too late, and before you regret it. If you decide to talk to her about the dream then put it in the conversation casually, but most importantly remember that it is just a dream, and it doesn't have to mean anything.
