Advice about leaving rented room?

I recently moved in with some friends 5 in the house including me. I was told the room with be 50euro a week and no need for deposit as they other 4 were already living there and was happy with this. Unfortunately i have noticed the house is very unclean and they are very noisy especially in middle of night. Now i have being told that 2 of them are moving out and they expect me to pay 100euro a week now for a single room as they have to make up for the 2 lads who are leaving as the rent for the house is the same no matter how many stay there, also they want me to pay a 300euro long term contract deposit. I have started looking at other places to rent that would be much cheaper. But now i am afraid if i move out i will lose my friends as they will not be too happy even though they made me promises they could not keep when i moved in such as they 50euro a week rent. Any ideas?Advice about leaving rented room?
You and your friends had an agreement as to what you were going to pay for your room. Since you all agreed to the terms, you have a verbal contract. They broke the contract when they decided to change the terms. I understand that they are trying to protect themselves, but since it is not something you are prepared to do, I would explain that you cannot afford this sudden change in room rates when you find a new place to live. Give them enough notice (one month) to find another person to take over your room. Since it is a money issue, they should understand - and if they don't, they aren't good friends anyway especially since none of this is your fault.Advice about leaving rented room?
You are on a UK site (拢 not euros). So advice is difficult. However, commonsense should tell you to seek somewhere else asap. It's never going to be ok where you are, and it's getting more expensive. In UK a contract is signed so that variations in tenancy arrangements do not occur without prior agreement.
This is not a UK site there are also Americans and many people from around the Globe on here typical UK person things they still own the great empire.
