Any advice about getting your hair cut short?

I want to get my hair cut short because my long hair is bothering me a lot. It's hard to manage and I just want to cut it. But,I'm afraid it's not going to look right. I mean,I have an oval and I've heard that an oval face can pull of almost any hairstyle,but I still doubt that these short hairstyles that I want to get aren't going to look right. Any advice?

You are so lucky you can cut your hair. I have long hair too and I dont like it! I wish i could cut it like the picture in 3 but i have really stupid parents with their stupid indian thingy about having long is good and ppl think you are a decent child and all that other ****! They would go insane if I even cut an inch!!

I would not go too short but maybe just about your shoulder length, well that's where mine is at right now. but you should check out some of the people in your school or even in magazines and you should go for one of those looks. you can even go as short as you want to, but you should ask one of friends and sometimes take their advice. please keep me in touch about your hair cut!
go for it! it'll grow back if you dont like it. My only advice would be to keep it below the jaw until your sure that you still want to go shorter. Really short hair tends to go through an awkard stage while its growing out so you want to be really sure about the length because you will have to get it trimmed more often to keep it looking right.
go to your salon and tell them you want short. bring a pic or something (i know i hate it when people give me this advice) but they will not know what you want if you don't show them. i would just ask them first what they would plan to do and tell them what you want done.








and idk if it would work for you but try it hair always grows back
look at magazines or some people on the internet that have hair like your only shorter. Also if you cut it and don't like it get extensions and also your air will grow back. Also U can get highlights or something to make it look better. One more thing to add, you don't have to get it all chopped off you could get 2 or 4 inches off. Hope this helps!
Make sure that this is REALLY what you want to do.I'm just saying this because I know alot of people with long hair who decided to cut it short,and then regretted it later.

I like the 2 and 4 cuz there cute the second is really cute but if you wanna get the hair going one direction if you swing it alot i would do the first but the second would get the ladies if yer a guy, i dont really know just listen to me and only me
it seems cool now but trust me you are going to hate it! I got mine cut that short and i was high hopes the next day i woke up and i cried like no other. I cried so hard when i got to school i got sent to the councilor and i got sent home lol
When I got my hair cut short I really liked it...for a while anyway


now i just really miss my long hair. You can't really style short hair very easily. Unless you have an amazing hair stylist I doubt that your hair is going to turn out like the picture
