Any advice about periods after miscarriage?

had a natural miscarriage on July 13th at 4 weeks pregnant. The bleeding lasted 12 days. I finally got my period back on September 16th. 66 days after I had my miscarriage it lasted 7 days. So I was wondering for my second period after miscarriage do you think it will go back to normal or be all over the place? Today it has been 31 days from my last period so I don't know what to expect. No sign of a period yet or pregnancy symptoms. Does any of you have advice or experiences to share with me? Sorry to hear about your miscarriage, I understand how hard that can be. I had a miscarriage as well Nov 29 of 2006, the bleeding lasted for a little over 2 weeks, but I did end up getting a regular period in in Jan that lasted 7 days. Every woman is different so it may take a while for your period to regulate itself after that type of trauma to your body. I ended up pregnant so I didn't have anything to compare that first period to. I would wait it out to see what happens, you could end up pregnant, or your period might be out of wack for a while. I had my first miscarriage in September of 2004 at 5 and a half weeks pregnant. I think I only bled for about a week, had a regular period about 35 days later then was pregnant again the very next cycle. So yes, for me, my body got right back into it's normal rhythym (as normal as my body ever was). Its different for everyone, but if you had a normal period after the m/c, it's possible that you could be pregnant again, but it's also possible that your cycles may be off for a few months.
it takes up to 3 months for your cycle to go back to normal but it does.. and Im very sorry for your loss
