Any advice about this guy?? 10pts best answer! ?

theres this guy, lets say tim, and i've known him since sophmore year, now were seniors. i've had alot of classes with him, know his family pretty well, and have talked to him over the years. but the problem is that we're both shy so that makes kinda hard. now we dont have any classes together :( but i still see him in the halls and after school cuz he does football and i run cross country. he usually says hi whenever i see him and we have only talked a few times this year. i still have a crush on him from sophmore year, even though i've been talking to this other guy i thought i liked during the summer, when school started again and i talked to tim i remembered how much i liked him. so homecoming is coming up in a few weeks, should i just try graudually talking to him more and see if maybe he'll ask me?


should i just ask him stuff like hey how was your football game on saturday? or when's the homecoming game? any other ideas?


im not gonna ask him, that would just be weird and its a big deal at our school for the guys to ask the girls, and anyways theres saides later in the year for us girls.Any advice about this guy?? 10pts best answer! ?

If you are interested in Mr. Football...my advice to you would be to just talk to him. You already know him so starting a conversation with him should be fairly easy. Ask him brief questions about homecoming. I am assuming he is playing in the game...so ask him if he plans to go to the dance right afterward. If he is interested...he will ask you to the homecoming game/dance. If you aren't comfortable asking him yourself...the only option would be to just wait it out.





BTW: I may be telling my age. But, when I was in school...we had a homecoming football game and the homecoming dance on the same night. :o) I am assuming the same is still happening. Good Luck and have fun!!!Any advice about this guy?? 10pts best answer! ?
If you want this guy, go get him. You girls have equal rights now, so there should be nothing stopping you, however.............


Ask him in private, where no one is going to over hear, so that if he declines, neither of you are going to be embarrassed in front of mates.


Personally, I think not seeing him as much has made you think more of him, and I am sure he is the guy you want most of all.

If not ask him i am sure he will say yes even if you are moderatly attractive and if your hot it's a done deal send him a note or send a friend to tal to him, somethin
talk to him more. Walk while yur doing it. Talk about old times if you want. If yur walking, walk along with him close enough to brush yur hand/ arm on his.


Its best if u guys get more touchy feely. Nothing big, just hands and arms.

Yeah just talk to him when you see him, let him know that you are interested, make sure you do this before your homecoming, and if he's feeling he'll ask you.
Try talking to him more( But don't bore him)...

get to know the guy. Be where he is. talk about stuff...men are more likely to ask a girl out if they know them.

Gradually start some small chat seems like a good idea. Gives you both the opportunity to catch up and get to know each other again maybe ask how his family is going. Ask him when his next footy game is and tell him you 'might' be able to go and watch and turn up. As for the homecoming just ask what his plans are if any.
