1. You need a GOAL
2. Do you have any medical problems
3. What is you diet (are you eating proper foods)
4. You need a PLAN (Upper Body 1 Day LOWER Body next day (example)
5. Warm up your muscle before and after workouts.
6. You will get ACUTE muscle soreness while working out'
7. And you will get DELAYED muscle soreness 24-48 hours
after you complete the work outs.
8. Work out in SETS
9. For STRENGTH use heavy weights in your SETS
example: First SET=100lbs x 8 reps Second SET 110lbs x 6 reps LAST SET 120lbs 4 reps. (adjust lbs for your fitness level. Note rest for 1-2 minutes between setsNeed advice about weight training?

some times 24 hours still isnt Enough. Muscle is all about nutrition. 80% nutrition 10% weights 10% supplenments. I dont work out till the soreness is gone. That way I know that the muscle is recovered completley.
