I BADLY NEED ADVICE. About made up standards of people. :( please share your wisdom. please?

its like this. i have had 2 past relationships and neither satisfied me. I made this sort of ';expectation list'; and well, i know that a person as such would be impossible to find.





So, well.. i let it be for a while. Since i was younger, my mom had a very close friend (who even kept on helping us after my dad passed away) who had a son whom i had never ';talked'; to. My mom had been telling me stories of him and well.. he sort of fitted my exact ';ideal guy';.





and well..





despite us not knowing one another.. when he sees my mom he usually asks where i am.





so somehow i had some hope.





Actually.. i've loved the idea of him for more or less 5 years now.





i'm just 17. he's around 22.





please.





i need advice of some sort.





anything.

He just had a girlfriend recently. His parents disprove though. but i guess it wouldn't matter.I BADLY NEED ADVICE. About made up standards of people. :( please share your wisdom. please?
As I figure it, it's easier to dream comfortably about someone, than it is to take a chance on a ';real'; person. He's on a pedastool. He will never measure up, and no one will ever compare. Try seeing for what he is, human. If he is, by some chance the right one, it will work better if you don't think of him as a demi-god.I BADLY NEED ADVICE. Why don't you meet him? Hope it happens soon. Only then you will get a real picture. I would say dont get ur hopes up yet. Keep a healthy skepticism in mind. He could be anyone and anything. Meet him, and talk to him. Take it from there.
