Need advice about my relationship.. Please.?

3 yrs ago my gf and I left our husbands to be together which we wanted. (this is my 1st same sex relationship). However my gf's ex still wants her back and when my gf gets drunk she talks about her ex as if she still wants him also and occasionally they text each other which makes me paranoid. Also when I confront her about this she trys to avoid the question and in return she says I love you and not him. Do people tell the truth when there drunk and also is there a future?Need advice about my relationship.. Please.?
people talk a lot of crap when they are drunk, frostie sandwiches, criminals in the cupboards for instance. i am 100% positive that she loves you and she probably avoids you questioning her because she isn't proud of the fact that she gets drunk, so doesn't really want to talk about it. i would say that there is a future for you both.Need advice about my relationship.. aww that is so sad u left the 1 u loved for the 1 you thought loved you but she doesnt love u she loves the one she left for u but maybe she didnt leave him sorry that might of sounded confusing, look she might love you in a friendly way i love this girl lucy who im mates with but im not in love with her maybe thats whathappened here renember hun hearts are often broken by words left unspoken hope evrything works out for the best. lesbian pride ! xxx
You guys need her to be honest with each other. My experience is that you need to do it in such a way that does not shame her or she will go on the defensive. Whatever the truth you cannot be threatened. YOu will pick up that vibe and sugar coat what she tells you.
3 years is long enough to know that you are serious about each other right ? but you have 2 other issues here :





1. the drinking - you make it sound like its a regular event and if it is especially if its affecting your sex life then its a problem and that can be a slipperly slope...both for the booze and for the lack of intimacy and affection in the relationship.


if its just the odd one off event then ok drunk people talk shi*, forget it.





2. What are your gf and her ex texting about ? he's not for instance coming over and fixing the lawnmower is he ? sounds a bit odd, I'd have a good chat with her and have it out, no matter how awkward it is.





I'm sure she loves you but what the heck is he doing hovering in the background if its over done and dusted.She doesn't stay in touch with any of her other exes does she ? So why him ? Very Suspicious !





As for future - up to you two, I've got friends done the civil ceremony v.happy and others just living together happy enough too.
