Advice about a PAP and moms?

I really need some advice.

When I was 10 I started my periods, and I am almost 19 now and ever since I can remember they have been so bad to make me throw up, they intrrupt my day, and are very heavy. Well now sometimes I will be 3 weeks later, or not even have them at all, and they come out in clots instead of a flow. Im not sure if any womans is a flow or not. But I am almost 19 and I really need to have a PAP done and get checked out. I think when I was 13 I asked for some help with my periods from my mom. I asked her if there was a doc that could help them not be so painful, you know so I didnt have to miss part of school and not throw up a few times a day. Well she was like your not getting put on birth control bc you will end up being a lil w-h-o-r-e. I was like what?? So I dropped it, that is just how she is. Now that I am 18 and I am stil on her insurance I want to be put on something bc now they have gotten worse. Sometimes they are 2 days if that long then others its alotAdvice about a PAP and moms?
even though you are on her insurance you can call and make your own doctors apointment they will keep it stickly between you and them they may send test results to the address that your mom has so i would ask them to ither just call have you pick up any test results or have a different address ready and she will find out you went because they will bill her so just be ready for that but i would really say you need to go to the doc and get it figured out best of luck hope it helps and hope it gets betterAdvice about a PAP and moms?
I would definitely call my doctor it could be something more.Your mom may not realize it but it is for your health that you have this Pap done.I think she may just think that you want to be sexually active(not that her approach could ever stop you). Please get to the Dr and try maybe if you must to have your mom go with you to talk to the Dr after about your options.Your Dr won't tell her anything about your sexual activity just what you want the Dr to talk to her about.

I
ok well since u are on her insurance have you thought about paying for your birth control yourself..depending on what doctor you go to and what pill you get on depends on how much it will be. i used to be on lo overal and yazmin..lo overal was 6$ for 1 packet and yazmin was 60$ a packet..so discuss with your doctor about your options and the pricing, you need it to help your periods its understandable. you don't need to tell your mother you are on it. good luck!
Both my mother and sister had such very horrible periods, like the ones you are describing. Since you will probably want kids later on in life please get on the birth control so that it can ease the pain of your periods. But after my mother had me and my sisters she had to get a complete hysterectomy to alleviate the pains. And no, she does not need to take hormones. She hasnt gotten any facial hair or anything like that. She is 43 and got this operation when she was 41. She says it is the best thing that has happened to her and she is free of those horrible blood clotting periods.
