Advice about boyfriend please!?

my bf and i have been together for a year and half and one year of that has been long distance. i love him very much and he loves me too. we're planning on moving in together next summer (09) but he's in the military and im in college. we can make it work though.


my parents love him and my sisters treat him like an older brother. our families like each other and hang out even though we dont live back home (they're in hawaii, my bf and i are in CA). so this is all good...but...


a family member told me to keep my optitions open because i dont want to waste my time being young and in a serious relationship. there IS NOT anyone here that i would want to go on a date with or can see myself with.


im happy with my bf even though we have our arguments from time to time.


am i being stupid? im in love with him and i know he is in love with me and would do anything for me (vise versa)...

Sounds to me like you're getting plenty of time ';alone'; whether you are trying to or not.





You said yourself that there is no one in your area that you would want to get with, and it sounds like an awesome match, so I'd say do the time and distance test and see what happens. A year apart is plenty of time to figure out if it's meant to be.Advice about boyfriend please!?
