Im asking this because this movie sheds light on what ive got with my best friend. Its like 99% carbon copied- minus the rustic theme. So what would you do in situation like this? I can tell that with him I dont feel like its a gay relationship its more than that, we have this bond, and trust, just like Greek Love. Dustin, First of all, how do you think your best friend feels about you? Have you known him long enough to accurately assess the feelings he may have about YOU? It makes me sad that we still live in a world where people feel a need to justify relationships by whether or not they're ';straight'; or ';gay';. Why can't we just be people who have relationships with other people? OK, I'm down from my soap box! Second, I am a firm believe that life is too short to withhold feelings. Also, ';best friends'; are a miracle. Like any realtionship, a certain amount of work is required. ';Moving on';, Jack misses an opportunity to nurture the relationship and express feelings. Too often, I've lost someone I've loved only to think, ';I wish I would have said [fill in the blank]';. Having said that, looking back on my ';first of all';, the only thing that should matter about your ability to assess your friends feelings is how you may have to approach the subject. If you think that he'll get angry, then you'll want to exercise extreme diplomacy. I don't envy you this, Dustin! I've been happily married for 21 years and I definitely do NOT miss the tender areas where expressing feelings can be a potential land mine. I'd love to hear how things turn out. i did not see this movie . but did hear a little a bout it . i feel like this . if you love some one . do what ever you think is right , try not to hurt any one . and try not to get your self hurt ,
Oops sorry, aint got any Idea how to solve your problem. I do however wish you luck and I hope you find what you need, not nessarily what you want.
I think whether you are gay or straight, if you love someone who can't give you what you need, you have to move on, otherwise you are always longing for something you can't truly have.
Im not gay. But I liked that movie. Is your partner acting like Ennis dose? Because Ennis just didnt want anyone to find out about it.
